Wesley Wang, violin

Wesley Wang is currently a second-year music major at UC Davis, and in his third season as a member of the UCD Symphony Orchestra. A native of Southern California, he has played the violin for over 13 years with various groups and orchestras throughout the Sacramento area, where he spent his adolescent years. In addition, he is an experienced pit musician, having played countless performances for numerous opera and Broadway theatre companies ranging from the classics of Gilbert and Sullivan to the jazz of Chicago. He has also performed with the UC Davis Baroque Ensemble, soloing on several occasions. He currently studies with Dan Flanagan.
