Judy Riggs is a graduate of Monmouth College (Illinois) with a degree in English. A long-time Davis resident, she joined the UCD Symphony during the 1982/83 season. She is active in her church choir and is a charter member (1973) of the Davis Comic Opera Company, having served in the "pit" for nearly all the company's semi-annual productions. Mrs. Riggs is retired after 27 years as "The Library Lady" at Valley Oak Elementary School.
