Carrie Miller, cello

Carrie Miller is a junior at Davis Senior High School and has been studying cello for eight years with Julie Hochman. She was principal cellist of the Davis All-City Orchestra in sixth grade. Miller was a member of the Sacramento Youth Symphony for three years before joining the UCDavis Symphony. She has participated in several chamber music workshops including the 2007 Cello Festival at UCDavis.She has played in master classes with Andy Luchansky and Susan Lamb Cook.In 2008 Miller became the co-principal of the Davis Symphony Orchestra. She plans on attending music school as a performance major.
