Jacelyn Howerton, oboe

Jacelyn Howerton is a sophomore from West Hills, CA and has been playing the oboe for about 7 years. She has a twin sister in the orchestra named Rachel who plays French horn. Jaclyn has played in many youth groups and community bands around her home and played oboe in the Pierce Community College band last year. Both Jaclyn and her sister are Music Majors with an emphasis in Performance. In her spare time, Jaclyn likes to watch Angels Baseball, play softball and quilt. After college, she wants to become an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and also specializing in the knees. Jaclyn also wants to become a performing musician in LA as well.
