Stacy Habroun, oboe

Stacy Habroun is a first-year student at UC Davis majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. This is Habroun's first year in the UCDSO, and she is very excited to be playing oboe in the orchestra.She has been playing oboe for seven years, and has been involved in many musical groups, including the Royal Wind Ensemble, the Ventura County Honor band, the California All Southern Band and Orchestra, and has played in a quintet for the past four years. Her sister Kelly, who is a high school senior, plays the bassoon, and the two of them have played duets together for several years. In the future, Habroun would like to study human anatomy and physiology and become a thoracic surgeon. In her spare time, she likes to play soccer, be with her friends, read, listen to music, and take pictures.
