Jason Haberman, viola |
Jason Haberman is a first-year graduate student in cognitive neuroscience, investigating relations between music and the brain. Having played the violin for more than 18 years, Jason took up viola during his freshman year at Colgate University. After graduating with a degree in music and psychology, Jason worked as a research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and then at Northwestern University, all the while playing viola in the various campus orchestral and chamber groups. Realizing he didn't have the raw talent to be the next Pinchas Zuckerman, he applied to graduate school to find the union of his two passions: music and psychology. |
