Benefit concert of 9 February 1877

A Requiem for Habeneck, open to the public at large, was played on Friday, 9 February
1877, as part of the 50th-anniversary celebration. The music was newly composed by Deldevez;
for the Offertory, Delphin Alard played a violin solo by Habeneck. Proceeds were to the benefit
of Baron Taylor’s Association des Artistes-Musiciens.
